Accessibility Information
For Wheelchair Users
The ground floor of the Castle, including the ticket office, cloakroom, and some exhibition halls, is accessible to wheelchair users. Access to the first floor, where the main Royal Apartments are located, is possible via a special stair lift. Use of the lift requires assistance from Castle staff, so it is advisable to contact the Castle ahead of your visit to ensure a smooth experience.
Please note that the Tin-Roofed Palace has limited accessibility due to its historic architecture.
For Visitors with Other Disabilities
Assistance dogs are welcome in the Castle. Visitors with disabilities are entitled to a reduced ticket, and their carer or assistant is also entitled to a reduced ticket. Please be prepared to show a valid disability ID card at the ticket office.
