Eligibility for Free and Reduced Admission

Free Admission

    • Wednesday: Admission to the permanent exhibitions (Royal Route) is free for all visitors. A free pass must be collected from the ticket office.
    • Children: Children up to the age of 16 are entitled to free admission.
    • Students: Students of Polish universities under 26 years of age with a valid student ID.

Reduced Tickets

The following visitors are eligible for a reduced ticket price:

    • Pupils and students (non-Polish or over 26) with a valid ID.
    • Seniors over the age of 65.
    • Visitors with disabilities and their carers/assistants (with valid ID).

How to Claim

To receive a free or reduced ticket, you must present a valid form of identification at the ticket office. This could be a passport, national ID card, student ID, senior card, or disability card.

For the free admission on Wednesdays, it is strongly recommended to arrive early, as the number of passes is limited and there are often long queues. It is not possible to reserve these free passes online in advance.

Do I need ID for my child to get free entry?
While not always checked for young children, it is always a good idea to have a document showing your child's date of birth, especially for older children and teenagers up to 16.
I am a student in the EU but not in Poland. Do I get free entry?
No, the free entry for students is specifically for those enrolled in Polish universities. However, as a student, you are eligible for a reduced-price ticket upon presentation of a valid student ID.
